Clockwork Orange

This year I am going as a Droog from "Clockwork Orange". I actually decided this on November 1, 2009! It's a pretty simple costume when you think about it. The necessary items include a white shirt, white pants, white suspenders, black boulder hat, black boots, cane, and of course the signature lashes. One optional piece includes the codpiece (most likely a jock strap covered with tan underwear), which would make it difficult the use the restroom all night long, especially if you plan to consume alcohol. The next optional piece is the "drugged milk", this can be real milk, but could get messy. I am going to melt down white wax from a candle, and pour it into a glass, to give the illusion, without worrying about curdling or spilling. Finally, you can make your own mask with paper mache, but this may be difficult to do, and wear. Overall, I think this is a great idea for a male or female, and can be easily customized, and recognized.

Halloween is one of my most favorite times of year! I often find myself thinking of great costume ideas, not only for myself, but for friends and family as well, so I decided to share these ideas with you. In my opinion the best costumes are home-made instead of being store bought, so as you will see, many of my ideas can be created with simple clothing items we all have, thrift store, and craft store shopping.
